Product Description:
Tamoxifen is a non-steroidal
anti-estrogen. It binds to estrogen receptors to
prevent attachment of estrogen molecules. The
primary medical use for tamoxifen citrate is as a
preventative measure for estrogen-responsive
breast cancers in women.
In males, testosterone is converted by a
process known as aromatization, so-called because
of the activity of an enzyme named aromatase.
Excess estrogen may cause gynnecomastia, water
retention, and fat deposition. Tamoxifen can be
used to control such side effects. Tamoxifen
stimulates higher production of LH (lutenizing
hormone) which in turn boosts natural
testosterone Presentation: New
tamoxifen tablets as of February, 2006, are sand
coloured square with a score and the letters "BD"
imprinted on one side and 20mg imprinted on the
other side, sealed in foil pouches of 50. Older
tablets are pink coloured round 20mg tablets with
a score on one side.
